Not that I’m encouraging mass consumption of fast food, but if you are going to get it, you might as well get a toy that isn’t junk. My kids LOVE these audiobooks (they are read by the author, Mary Pope Osborne) from last year, so I was very happy to hear that they are back. Audiobooks are expensive (even the kid’s kind) so these are without a doubt the best kid’s meal toy ever.
Another decent week. See the full ad.
Here are my highlights:
Dial soap is 10 for $10. There are coupons out from a few weeks ago that are .60 off one, which will double and make these FREE. You might check eBay for these….they are hard to come by.
Mrs T’s Quick Ones Perogies are $2.25 and there are coupons for $1 off, making these $1.25.
L’oreal shampoos are BOGO. There is a .75 off any kid’s shampoo coupon (this will be FREE) and there are BOGO ones out for some of the adult shampoos. They still won’t be free since GE treats BOGOs as 50% off each product, but you’ll get 2 shampoos for about $1.50. Eh……I’m used to the free stuff, but if you really need shampoo, this will do.
Purex Detergent is 2 for $5. There are coupons out for .50 off 1, making these $1.50.
If you happen to have coupons for Skippy (you lucky duck! i do not!) they are 4 for $9 and you’ll get $5 ONYO wyb $15.
Edge shave gel is 2 for $4, and there are .75 off coupons, which make this .50.
Yay, looks like some good deals this week!! See the full ad.
Juicy Juice is 2 for $5. There’s also an instant savings of $2 WYB $10. You can print a $1 off coupon from Juicy Juice’s website (you can print 2….and ask your non-couponing friends and family to do the same). Final cost is $1 each.
There’s another combo deal. $3 OYNO WYB $10. There’s a whole list of things, the best deals look to be on

It’s that time again! Are you ready? Do you kids already have a good wardrobe for fall, only half done, or haven’t even started yet?
If your kids still need some essential pieces of clothing, two great places to check this week are JC Penny and Target.
JC Penny has a ton of clothes and shoes on 70% off (we picked up some boys polos and some little girl blouses).
Target has socks on 50%, underwear on 75%, and racks of clothing on clearance. We got tons of socks for the kids, boys jeans, another polo, and some cute clothes for the little one!
Don’t wait until the last minute. Go through those closets, figure out what you family needs, and start bargain hunting for it!
I just got a Women’s Day in the mail (I vaguely remember signing up through some deal….) and in the back of the magazine is a whole month’s worth of menus. The meals are pretty simple, relatively healthy, and don’t look to be too expensive.
They have them online too…..and even include a shopping list. This is a great first step for anyone who is looking to start saving by meal planning and list making!
